We’re a group of people on a journey. Not the finished article, but following and en route! We at Bethany are a group of people from as wide a range of backgrounds and experiences as you could imagine, but who have all come to know and follow Jesus. We live remarkably normal lives, with our jobs, families and interests, but seek to do everything in a different way, one that honours God. Our emphasis is on walking the walk rather than talking the talk. We are an outward focused church, who are engaged with our community and seeking to show and share God’s love with the people around us.

Our church is experiencing some exciting times, serving others and helping each other live fulfilled lives for God as we have been doing since 1851. Although we’ve been here a long time, we are a contemporary church and make sure we’re relevant to our community. We are an Evangelical Baptist church, which means we read the Bible for ourselves and seek to live by what it actually says.
