On alternate Wednesdays we meet at the church at 7:30pm, and have a bible study and prayer meeting. The bible studies are currently working through the book of Acts, looking at the New Testament church. These sessions aren’t lectures, but rather involve discussion, consideration and contributions from everybody as well as the person who’s researched and studied the passage in depth. The aim is to work out how we can learn from the Bible and discuss how we can actually live out those lessons. Following the Bible study we pray together about a whole variety of things – whatever we want and need to pray about! Occasionally we use these evenings to invite visiting missionaries to come and tell us about their work.
